This is America

És el segon cop que rebo un email com aquest. És de la policia de Berkeley que ens informa de l'últim robatori comès al campus i de la búsqueda d'un sospitós. Creieu que cal enviar aquest email a tothom? Quin n'és l'objectiu real? Ja que no em crec que ningú pugui trobar al sospitós amb els detalls que dóna l'email. Jo diria que el pròposit d'aquest email és causar por i alerta a tothom. This is America!

> (Suspect Arrested)

> On Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 10:12 p.m., UCPD received a report
> of an armed robbery in progress. Two White students in their early
> 30s, a male and a female, were approached by two males in the
> Eucalyptus Grove west of the Life Science Addition. One of the
> suspects wielded a knife and demanded the victims’ personal property.
> The victims complied and the suspects left the scene heading toward
> Oxford Street on the Grinnell Pathway*. UCPD Officers stopped one
> of the individuals at Shattuck and Allston and took him into custody.
